I would have no hesitation going on a solo horseriding holiday. I managed to persuade my hustband to come with me on my first overseas dude ranch holiday in Colorado and fortunately I now think he has the bug!! However, I would still go it alone if he didn’t want to go again – everyone is so friendly and I’m sure a solo traveller would absolutely get as much out of the holiday as someone travelling with a partner/friends! Fun memories! It’s something I would have no trouble doing alone – it seems to me that everyone I’ve ever met while horseback riding was friendly and fun to be with, so you’re really not likely to be “alone” unless you really, really want to be.
