Men's ExOfficio BugsAway Halo long-sleeve shirt horseback riding apparel review
How to repel insects on a horseback riding vacation
Let’s face it. Horse and flies go together like fleas on a dog. I hate fleas, flies, chiggers, ticks and mosquitoes. But I do love horses, dogs and horseback riding vacations. This week, I’m leaving for the high desert of Central Oregon.
I’m going on a horseback riding vacation at Sunriver Resort and the packing has begun.
ExOfficio Insect Shield Halo Shirt made to travel
The designers at ExOfficio think outside the box. I think they like a good adventure as much as I do. With shirts like the ExOfficio Halo, they have me protected from the sun and the bugs. Their clothing is made to last in a demanding outdoor environment. Permethrin, the active ingredient in Insect Shield that keeps the bugs away, is odorless and invisible.
I don’t know about you, but I have inhaled enough horse spray in my lifetime to appreciate that I don’t need to spray myself with DEET to keep the bugs away. This ExOfficio BugsAway shirt does the trick for both men and women.
